The Punjab Government has launched the Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL), also known as Hunar Sikhiya Schools, to bridge the gap between traditional academics and professional employability. This program allows Class 11 students to specialize in high-demand vocational trades while completing their regular schooling.

🚀 Available Vocational Streams

Students can choose from four primary vocational trade paths designed for the modern job market:

  • 🔹 Digital Design and Development (DDD): Focuses on UI/UX design, digital marketing, and low-code platforms.
  • 🔹 Healthcare Sciences and Services: Training for roles such as General Duty Assistants.
  • 🔹 Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI): Practical knowledge of banking and taxation.
  • 🔹 Beauty and Wellness: Professional training in hairstyling, makeup, and skincare.

📚 Scheme of Studies

Students in the SoAL program will study a total of seven subjects:

  • 4 Foundational Subjects: Functional English, Punjabi, Technology in Everyday Life, and Career Foundation Course.
  • 3 Elective Subjects: Specialized technical subjects related to the chosen vocational trade.

Admissions for the 2026 session are strictly merit-based and open to Class 11 students:

  1. Visit your nearest designated Government School of Applied Learning.
  2. Fill out the registration form available at the school's admission office.
  3. Submit required documents, including your Matriculation (Class 10) result card.
  4. Follow the school-specific schedule for interviews or aptitude tests.

Enrollment is limited to approximately 25 students per trade per school!
